Another year has nearly been and gone and this year really has been tough. Trying to increase the popularity and turnover of a fledgling business certainly isnt easy when the chancellor, the prime minister and the tax man all want a piece of the action. 2012 has had its ups and downs for Stikit, but with increased profit as well as an increase in our social media profile then things are certainly looking up for the New Year.

Next years aim is to build on our success and develop even further as a business, and we certainly have many ideas on how to do this. It should prove to be an exciting year for us with our sponsorship with Modball Rally being at the forefront of our minds. The rally has doubled in size since last year which should create massive exposure for us and them alike. With 180 cars driving across Europe from London to Prague sporting the Stikit logo then we certainly hope to grab peoples attention and imagination.

We also have aims towards our product library, hoping to add hundreds of new designs and themes, capitalising on the growing car cultures of Stance, Hellaflush, JDM, Anime and many more. We are always open to ideas and suggestions so if you guys have any ideas on what you would like to see then get in touch via email or through Twitter or Facebook.

Another aim in 2013 will be to find the “face of Stikit”, and hopefully whoever fits the bill will be able to attend car shows and events, as well as feature in our marketing campaign for the year, so for all you budding models out there, keep watching @juststikit for further news and announcements.

We hope you all have a fantastic Christmas, keep safe out on the roads, watch out for the Police hoping to fund their Christmas parties with their speed guns and we will see you in 2013!

Here at Stikit we are proud to be a main sponsor of the Modball Rally. For those of you that don’t know, the Modball is a six day event travelling through Europe starting in London and finishing in Ibiza, taking in some of europes finest cities. Our involvement came about through a chance email last year but has escalated into a fantastic relationship which both parties are incredibly proud of. The rally consists of 100 cars and the only stipulation is that the car must have a minimum of two modifications. From Bentley’s to Lamborgini’s, Peugeots to VW camper vans the list is wide and varied. Our job spec is to supply all of the graphics for the cars, in a variety of colours. This year we have also added additional colours which are available to buy from our website www.stikit.co.uk. Colours vary from matt to gloss, reflective to carbon and these have proved very popular. In fact the European entrants have been much quicker on the uptake than their more reserved British compatriots. It seems that across Europe then people are more inclined to try to be individual and to stand out from the rest.

The rally is open to anyone that wishes to take part but for several years people such as Lucy Pinder and Rhian Sugden have been involved and this year we aim to follow their progress through our Blog, Twitter and Facebook feeds. We hope to have photographs to share from Start to Finish as well as stories from along the way.

We wish that we were able to take part in this years Rally but our Stikit Scirocco will be making the trip and we certainly have some amazing graphics planned for this. As you can imagine we are keen to show our creative side and make a real impact at the start line and we think that we have just the right design to do this. The whole project istop secret and very hush hush but between me and you…….

This is the first blog post at stikit.co.uk.

We’re really excited about June as we have so much coming up. Being sponsors of the Modball Rally is a great honour and we’re looking forward to the launch in London on June 16th. With Lamborghinis, Bentleys and Porsches taking part this year we’re certainly looking forward to seeing the awesome array of cars on the start line. Even our own Scirocco will be there, and the graphics we have planned will certainly gain a lot of attention!!

As well as the rally, we have a huge amount of new products to add to the website with a special range of England Euro 2012 stickers soon to be available so you can show your support for Roy Hodgson’s men in his maiden tournament. Will football finally be coming home?
